Fort Sisseton State Park
Northern Theatre presents three faculty directed MainStage productions each season: A large scale musical in October, a play in February and a small musical in April. The play and small musical are often presented in a more intimate Arena or Thrust stage configuration on the MainStage of the Johnson Fine Arts Center. We also produce a small 45 minute musical review which we can tour to area schools.

Northern productions are open to all Northern students. Up to two credits in Theatre 289: Theatre Activities may be earned for participating by acting, working on a running crew, or playing in the orchestra of one of our MainStage shows.
