Resource of the National Plant Data Center. Citation database of the National Library of Medicine that includes over 14 million citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. Citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals; includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.

Science Citation Index Expanded (ISI Web of Science)
SCI provides access to current and retrospective bibliographic information, author abstracts, and cited references found in approximately 5,900 of the world's leading scholarly science and technical journals covering more than 150 disciplines.

ScienceDirect College Edition
Access to full text, scholarly journals in a wide variety of subject areas. Content in the life sciences, physical sciences, and health sciences is all included in this database. Content not limited to the sciences, although that is the field of emphasis. The social sciences & humanities component offers full text access to hundreds of titles in the fields of history, sociology, anthropology, business, economics, and psychology.

SciFinder Scholar
NSU students now have access to the Chemical Abstracts Service database, which includes references from over 9,500 journals and more than 50 active patent issuing authorities. These journals provide complete coverage in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, biology, pharmacology, and medicine. In addition to these subject areas, SciFinder Scholar contains the worlds largest collection of organic and inorganic substance information. Access is limited to NSU faculty and student. **To use SciFinder Scholar you must first create a personal account; you will use your personal username and password to access the database.

Scirus
Science-specific search engine that searches over 167 million science-specific Web pages to locate scholarly, technical and medical data on the Web, including the latest reports and peer-reviewed articles and journals.

Scitation
Scitation indexes articles from 120 scholarly journals on topics in physics and engineering. Topics include mathematics, civil engineering, semiconductors, optics, and nuclear physics. Some full text content is included, but Scitation is made up largely of abstracts.

Web of Science
The Web of Science interface is the main way to access three major citation indexes. One is the Science Citation Index Expanded, which contains citations for scholarly journals in the areas of chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, computer science, and astronomy. Another major resource is the Social Science Citation Index, which contains citations on subjects such as political science, history, anthropology, social issues, sociology, philosophy, and women's studies. The final resource included is the Arts & Humanities Index, which includes archaeology, literary reviews, art, music, history, religion, and theater abstracts. These resources are searchable by topic, author, source, or cited reference and cover dates from 1992 to the present.
