Sara Christensen Blair

Sara Christensen Blair is a mixed-media artist originally from Brookings, SD. After receiving her BA from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN she studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and in 2002 she received her BFA. Sara did her graduate work at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and received her MFA in 2004. After graduate school, she worked as a graphic designer at a small advertising firm in Grand Forks, ND. As an artist she continues to show her work nationally and regionally. In 2006 the North Dakota Museum of Art purchased one of her pieces for their permanent collection. Sara teaches the design, graphic design and mixed media classes at NSU.
